The Gospel According To John

I was watching a tv movie about the Gospel according to John and it jogged my memory that this was not a particularly great depiction of Jesus Christ.  Then I recalled that it wasn't the fault of the movie but the gospel itself which paints the man as a whiny, self-centered, self-absorbed, pompous, megalomaniacal, arrogant SOB prick that I would have happily seen hanging fromn a cross had I lived at the time.  

I was thinking, this must have been what Jimmy Jones was like when he was alive and kicking.

Day 3

Day 3 in the books except I feel I cheated sort of.  Chereece was hungry and wanted me to find something for her.  I suggested a few places one of which she agreed to.  I needed to run so I suggested we park the car at home and walk to the restaurant.  She agreed.

It was a 10 minute walk.  

She went in and I continued by starting to run while she ordered takeout.  The plan was to run for 10 minutes; 5 minutes one way, 5 minutes back.  It ended up being more like 10 minutes one way and 10 minutes back.

She was just coming out as I walked up to where I left her- I was hurting.  We walked back home.  

In total I was out there for 42 minutes but I felt as if I did not get as much out of it as on day 2.  I'm sure I did though.
